Carole Danielson is a portrait painter based in the Scottish Borders who undertakes both corporate and private commissions.

She specialises in formal, high quality oil paintings of people and dogs.

She undertakes commissions both internationally and across the United Kingdom.

Carole trained at Edinburgh College of Art, Scotland from where she graduated in 1964/65 with a degree followed by a postgraduate in drawing and painting.

She was one of the leading lights in a very talented year which included artists John Bellany and Alexander Moffat.

After a rewarding twenty-five year career teaching art and art therapy in Edinburgh’s inner city schools, Carole decided in 1990 to pursue her painting career full time.
